Marshall Demecillo

This two-story house is approximately 5.2 m x 4.0 M. Total floor area is 46.5 sqm and total lot area is 4 m x 10 m (80 sqm). Symmetrical building design with minimal detail gives a slick and clean minimalist impression. Details are only added to complement the functionality of the house. For example, the addition of a fence on the balcony and a grille.

White, gray and natural brown color

Three natural shades of white, grey and brown. These three colors are great combination for small house designs. The white color will make the house look clean and bright. Grays provide a calming contrast and natural browns provide freshness.

Small balcony ideas

No matter how small, the balcony will be a pleasant exterior feature of the house. You can make it a place for morning sunbathing and chatting together. Keep it simple. You can put a pair of outdoor chairs and green plants for balcony decoration.

Back of the house design

The back design of the house is well thought out. This area used as a dirty kitchen and laundry room. With a transparent roof that shelters from the rain, and still gives natural light to this area.

Outdoor service room

The service area here is a place to do housework, such as doing laundry and cooking. This service area made outdoor to maximize the work. Here, you'll find a space for doing laundry and a countertop and sink to wash the dishes.

Open-space concept

Entering the house, you'll find the first floor in an open-space or open-plan concept. There are no walls barriers that limit one area to another. This gives the impression of a wider space. White wall paint and dark grey becomes a visual divider, making the interior more dynamic.

Small kitchen design

For open spaces, the kitchen design uses a U-shaped layout. The end or side  countertops are used as a barrier between the living area and kitchen. This divide table also becomes a table for mini bar or small dining table. Although small, this kitchen won't feel so stuffy, thanks to the wall-mounted windows.

The space under the stairs

Every corner is put to good use, including the empty space under this minimalist staircase design. This space is very good for a TV console table. The choice of a console table design that is the same as the design of the stairs will make the interior more well integrated.

1st Bedroom design

Marshall Demecillo

The first bedroom design carries a minimalist concept that is not much different from the previous interior. This bedroom has complete features, from a wardrobe that blends with a work desk, a bed and a window. The windows will affect comfort. Window provide natural lighting and good air circulation, if you are not turning on the air conditioner.

Loft bed ideas

One bedroom is designed in a loft concept. This is to maximize the small space. The upper loft becomes a bed. The lower part is for storage, which is equipped with a mirror. The presence of a mirror will help the illusion of a more spacious room.

Loft bedroom design

This loft bed uses a wood frame or fabricated material in a natural brown finish.  Avoid the impression of being cramped, by adding vertical lines and small windows to make the bed wider and spacious.

Toilet and bath

For small bathrooms, comfort remains a top priority. Small size, shower design is better than having a tub. The addition of a mirror as well as a cabinet in addition to being functional also makes a small bathroom more stylish.
